Voice needs creative direction too
Multilingual audiovisual production involves more than replacing words between languages. Voice needs to preserve intention, rhythm and its relationship to the scene. For Onverse / Cúpula do Mundo, Zeb Lab researches and applies Voice AI as part of that production process.
Working with voices in Portuguese, English and Spanish means listening, comparing results and building a process that lets us revisit choices that do not work.
The process matters as much as the tool
Voice technology opens up room for experimentation, but every version still needs to be judged in the context of the production. A take may sound right on its own and lose its impact in sequence.
The lesson is to make AI part of the creative process: prepare material, generate options, listen, adjust and review. That cycle brings a technical solution into line with the story's needs.
The question is not just whether the voice works. It’s whether it belongs in the scene.
